The President's Badge is the second - highest award in the Boys'
Brigade, and represents the culmination of many years work in the
Company Section Award Scheme. For older Boys joining Company
Section, there is scope to "fast-track" through the Award Scheme.
There is also the second option to the Award via the Duke of
Edinburgh's Bronze award.
The President's Badge is required entrance to the Queen's Badge, where candidates typically work for a further 1 - 2 years both at a personal level, and in Service in the Company and the wider Community before, at the Captain's recommendation they attend a Completion Course where their work is assessed. |

President's Badge is changing as
part of the Programme Review, and new regulations will be introduced in
August 2007. These may, however take a year or so to be
implemented by all Companies as it may make more sense for some Boys to
continue in the previous (1983) system. These pages detail the 2007 system, and will be updated as information becomes available abd experience grows. |
