A Health & Safety form must be completed by the Candidate (signed by the Captain), and inserted in the Record Book. Another checklist must be completed by the Captain (and retained in his Records).

Route Cards are required for any Expedition / Exploration (1 per day).
The bb_route.xls file is an Excel Spreadsheet to help calculate / check route cards. Please verify manually before use - no warranties nor guarantees!
Carronvale must be notified in advance of all Practice / Assessment Expeditions by way of the postcard or online (BB Scotland Website).
This should be completed at (or before) the Candidates' Conference. The Adviser will retain this plan as a record of what was agreed and entered into the Record Book.

Note that there are separate forms for external candidates (ie those from outwith East Lowland Area).
External Candidates should also complete the "transfer in" form, and forward to their own Area Organizer for signature for signature. [NB. This is not currently necessary for Candidates from Strathkelvin attending ELA Courses, as there is a prior arrangement to accept these Candidates].
Note that ELA Candidates intending to attend another Area's Completion Course MUST notify their own Adviser, who will check and sign the Record Book as appropriate prior to it's submission to another Area. These Candidates must also complete the "transfer out" form and submit it to the Area QB Coördinator.
The Assessor's Comments page may also be inserted into your Record Book by your Course Tutor.
Return this with your completed Queen's Badge Record Book.
Complete the appropriate sheet (there is a different one for over 18s) and bring it with you to the Completion Course) do not send it early! Note that and special needs should be notified on the registration form.
