Athletics
What is it?
Athletics is a
collective name for different track and field events, which are generally
individual events.
Safety message
Participants should
receive suitable training and supervision in the correct use of any equipment
they will be required to use during participation in athletics. They should also
learn about the correct warming up and cooling down techniques, before taking
part in an event.

contains suggested points, which you might want to think about/undertake when
doing any of these athletic activities:
Review/Assessment
The reviewer/assessor
should make sure that the participant understands the rules of the event he/she
is participating in, and knows about the equipment necessary for that event. The
participant should show the assessor how they have improved over the time they
have been participating in athletics, and what they have learnt about warming up
and cooling down after exercise.
