Get the Credit: Athletics

Boys are required to attend at least six practical sessions of one hour (or 24 half-hour sessions) at which instruction will be given and practice and training carried out.  During theses there should be an indication of improvement, so that if a Boy achieves the following minimum standards at the start of the course then further targets should be agreed for the end of the course.

All tests should be carried out by experienced assessors preferably from outwith the Company.  The standard rules for the Amateur Athletics Association will apply for each event.  The three events are assessed during one session allowing a reasonable rest between each.

Grade III (President's Badge) is equivalent to Bronze DEA Standards.
