Parachuting / Skydiving
What is it?
This is the art of diving out of a plane, with a parachute attached, and
releasing the parachute, in order to descend to the ground safely. Sky diving,
requires a team of people, who will meet mid air, to make a formation, and then
release their parachutes.
Safety Message
This is a high-risk activity, and the permission of the Operating Authority
should be sought before taking part in it. Participants must receive appropriate
training before actually taking part in this activity, and should always wear
appropriate clothing etc. The minimum age for this activity is sixteen.

Review/Assessment
Participants should discuss with the assessor any safety requirements for this
activity. They should discuss any dives/jumps, which the participant has done,
and the results of those. The participant should discuss why they like this
activity, and what they feel they have got out of it, and review their
performance against targets set.
